Higher Peak is happy to serve international buyers*. There are several things to bear in mind if you are purchasing from outside the US:
Electrial Standards
The MAG-10 is offered in 230V versions for Europe and other locations. You may specify the desired voltage when you order. The MAG-7 and MAG-5 are
not available in 230V.
Alternatively, you can purchase the US version of the MAG-7 or MAG-10 and use it with a step-up transformer. Transformers are available from many
vendors on the Internet at a reasonable price, but are not offered by Higher Peak. You will need 800-1000 Watt step-down transformer. (Although the
MAGs use less than 800W when running, startup requires more power and can burn out smaller transformers. The higher-wattage units will also run
cooler and last longer.)
Payment
We accept credit card (Visa, Master Card, Amex, Discover) and Paypal orders on-line through this web site. If this is not possible, we can provide bank
information for transferring funds. Please use the contact form or email us at: sales@higherpeak.com.
Our payment processing system is cautious about accepting non-US credit cards, and it may be necessary to call your bank or credit card issuer to pre-
approve the charge, before it will be accepted.
Shipping Costs
Door-to-door shipping is standard and costs outside of the continental US are as follows:
If you are near a major international airport, consider AIRPORT PICKUP for international deliveries. This option will cut shipping rates in half for Europe,
and even more for Asia and Africa. Contact us, and we will contact you with the actual amount.
Import Duties, Taxes
Customs duties and taxes (VAT) may be charged at the destination. You will be responsible for paying these fees directly to the customs clearance
agent. We may need your taxpayer identification number for the export forms. The amount of VAT other taxes depend on the destination. Please be sure
you are informed of what fees might apply before you order.
Warranty
Higher Peak stands behind its warranty regardless of where the equipment is located. However, at this time, we do not have certified services
representatives outside of the US. Units must be returned to Higher Peak in the US for service, at your cost, if service is necessary.
